Why not just put it on the curb?

Curbside bulk pickup works for some items, but it has rules. In the City of Jacksonville, household bulk collection has limits on size, quantity and where items can be placed, and you still have to get the item to the curb yourself. • The item is upstairs, in a back bedroom or in a tight hallway
• It is too heavy to move safely yourself, like a sleeper sofa or a power recliner
• Your HOA or apartment community does not allow items left at the curb
• You need it gone before a delivery, a move-in or a showing
• You do not want it sitting outside in the rain until collection day

How single-item pickup works

1. Text a photo. Send a picture of the item to (833) 586-5255 with your address and where the item is (for example, a second-floor bedroom).
2. Get an exact quote. We reply with a price for that item. You approve it before we load anything.
3. Pick a time. Choose a day Monday through Saturday between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
4. We carry it out. Our crew lifts it, carries it out and hauls it away. Clear a path to the door and that is all you need to do.

Tips before we arrive

• Empty drawers, cushions and pockets. People find keys, remotes and cash in couches all the time.
• Disconnect washers and dryers, and turn off the water supply to the washer first. Leave gas appliances for a professional to disconnect.
• Unplug TVs and remove wall mounts if you want to keep them.
• If a mattress has had bed bugs, tell us when you book so we can plan for it.
• Remove the propane tank from a grill before pickup.

Do I have to bring the item outside?

No. Our crew carries it out from where it is, including upstairs rooms, as long as there is a clear path to the door. Tell us where the item is when you book.

Can you take a refrigerator or freezer?

How much does single-item pickup cost?

Can you pick up a couch or mattress the city bulk pickup will not take?

Often, yes. Items that are too large, stained, wet or not allowed at the curb by your HOA can usually be picked up from inside the home. Send a photo and we will let you know.
